Getting started with chiliad
From sign-up to your first monitored Google Ads script run in about ten minutes.
chiliad hosts your Google Ads scripts in one place, deploys them to any number of accounts through a small loader, and shows you every run. This guide walks through the whole path once; each step links to a deeper guide.
The four steps
Every workspace follows the same path:
- Create your workspace β sign up with email or Google. New workspaces start on a 14-day trial of the Solo plan, no credit card needed.
- Connect Google Ads β authorize a Google login and pick the Ads accounts you manage.
- Add a script β install one from the marketplace or create your own.
- Paste the loader β one small snippet in Google Ads. From then on chiliad delivers code and settings, and records every run.
Connect Google Ads
Open Settings β Google Ads and choose Add Google Connection. Pick Scripts + Google Ads so chiliad can list your accounts and sync performance data, then sign in with the Google login that has access to your Ads accounts.
When Google sends you back, select the accounts you want to manage. A manager (MCC) account gives you access to its client accounts too.
Full details: Connecting Google Ads accounts.
Add your first script
The quickest start is the Marketplace: 130+ ready-made scripts for monitoring, reporting, bidding and clean-up. Open one, read what it does and click Add to Scripts β it becomes your own editable copy. See Using the marketplace.
Prefer your own code? Go to Scripts β Create Script, start from a blank script or a template, and add code with a function main() entry point. You can also ask Claude to write the script and save it to your workspace β see Claude connector.
Deploy it to Google Ads
Open the script and follow its Setup Guide:
- Assign accounts & set values β choose which accounts run the script and give each one its own settings where needed.
- Copy the loader script β a short snippet generated for this script.
- Paste into Google Ads β go to Tools β Bulk actions β Scripts, create a script, paste, authorize and set a schedule.
You paste only once. Later changes to code and settings are picked up on the next run. See Scripts and deployment.
Tip
Deploying through the loader is included in the trial and in every paid plan. On the Free plan you can store scripts and monitor runs, but not generate loaders.
Read the dashboard
After the first run, the Dashboard becomes your daily check. It covers the date range selected at the top of the page.
- 1
Workspace totals: connected accounts, active scripts, executions and overall success rate.
- 2
Completed versus failed executions over time. A growing red band means something started failing.
- 3
The latest runs across all scripts. Click a script name to open its history and error messages.
