Free vs Premium marketplace scripts
What the Free and Premium labels in the chiliad marketplace mean and which plans include which scripts.
Every script in the marketplace carries an access label: Free or Premium.
Free scripts
Free scripts can be installed on any plan, including the Free plan and during the trial. Their code is open to read on the script's page.
Premium scripts
Premium scripts are included with every paid plan β Solo, Studio, Agency and Scale.
Two things to know:
- They stay locked during the free trial. The trial gives you Solo's limits and features, but Premium scripts unlock when you subscribe.
- The install button tells you. A Premium script you cannot install yet shows Upgrade instead of Add to Scripts.
Installing versus deploying
Installing a script copies it into your library. Running it in Google Ads needs a loader, and generating loaders is part of the trial and of paid plans. On the Free plan you can install Free scripts, read and edit them, and monitor runs of scripts already in your account, but not deploy through the loader.
After installing
An installed script is your copy, whichever label it has. You can edit it, and it stays in your library. Updates published to the original are offered to you, never forced: see How to update an installed marketplace script.
