How to use chiliad with Claude Code
Adding the chiliad connector to Claude Code in the terminal and working with Google Ads scripts from there.
Claude Code is Claude in your terminal. With the chiliad connector added, it can create and manage Google Ads scripts in your workspace while you keep the code in your own repository.
Setup
- In chiliad, open Settings → Claude and copy the command shown under Claude Code (terminal). It looks like this:
claude mcp add --transport http chiliad https://app.chiliad.io/api/mcp- Run it in your terminal.
- Start Claude Code and type
/mcp. - Select chiliad and authenticate. Your browser opens the chiliad sign-in and consent page.
What it is good for
- Scripts kept in git. Edit a script in your editor and ask Claude to push the new version to chiliad.
- Bulk work. "For each client account, check last month's spend and set MONTHLY_BUDGET to match."
- Debugging. "Read the last failed run of ROAS Bid Adjuster and fix it."
- Migration. "Take the scripts in this folder, adapt them to chiliad's structure and create them in my workspace."
Things to know
- The same permissions and plan limits apply as in the dashboard and in claude.ai.
- Scripts hosted in chiliad are written for a single account, with a
main()function and settings as top-level variables. Claude fetches these authoring rules itself before writing. - Every push is a version in chiliad marked as coming from Claude, so you can compare and restore.
